LTE: Visualizing a Different Future

by Kate Brunk
Dear Editor,I write today to shine a spotlight on the mission of Labyrinth Made Goods and the work they are doing in our community. Labyrinth Made Goods creates opportunities to empower women who have experienced incarceration by providing professional development training, apprenticeships, and permanent employment as a part of YWCA McLean County. As a board member of YWCA, I have learned first-hand how their apprentices work tirelessly to overcome their barriers and work alongside the staff and volunteers to achieve their dreams. They are living examples that show that women who have experienced incarceration can visualize a different future for themselves. The new Resilience Collection from Labyrinth Made Goods inspires us to persist beyond the limitations we may face. Among the collection, the scent Visualize, stands out to me. Aptly named, I envision a world where women can visualize a different future for themselves and break down the barriers that stand in the way.To learn more about Labyrinth Made Goods and to support their mission visit www.LabyrinthMadeGoods.com and shop the Resilience Collection now.Sincerely,Mary DellortoYWCA McLean County Board Member
